Today is Tuesday, and you know what that means: a new makeup tutorial! Today, I’m going to show you how to accomplish Watermelon Eyes. When I think of watermelons, besides how much I hate the way they taste, I think of the colors pink and green. Loreal Pencil Perfect EyelinerGreetings! Today marks the first day of my Friday Review series. Every Friday, I will review makeup and skin care products. Since eyeliner is an important part of your overall look, I’m reviewing Loreal Pencil Perfect Eyeliner today.

You’ll remember that I used this eyeliner in a previous post: Tutorial Tuesday: Sunrise Eyes. As you can see, this eyeliner goes on very smoothly. That’s the best part about it. It’s a creamy eyeliner that, as it says on the product itself, is a self-advancing liner. This means that you never have to sharpen it. Read the rest of this entry »

Revlon DealI had a pleasant surprise when I walked into Walgreens, an American drug store, yesterday. Their entire stock of Revlon is buy one - get one free. Cha-ching! Not only did I take advantage of this great offer, but I purposefully chose some of the most expensive items.

I’m not sure when this sale ends, but it probably only goes to Saturday night (April 26, 2008), so rush over there now if you want to get in on this deal. Read the rest of this entry »

Although I haven’t been visiting the blog long, I really like this sassy, purple-haired blogger. Read the rest of this entry »

Before you ever put makeup on your face, there are certain other products you need to use. I call this ‘priming the canvas’ because getting your face ready for makeup is a lot like getting a canvas ready for paint. This way, when you do put makeup on, it will go on smoothly and stay put much longer than it would if you hadn’t primed at all.
