Movie Self-Date #1: Iron Man

There are so many movies out right now that I want to see, and I don’t know anyone who wants to see them. Instead of waiting to rent the movies, I’m just going to see them by myself. I’m hoping to see all of these in the next few weeks.

Here’s what I’m seeing today: Iron Man! I’m gonna get some hot Robert Downey Jr. action!

So, what did I decide to look like for my very own self-date?

Check it out:

You can see my makeup pretty well there. I’ve got a brownish purple in the crease, blue on the lid, and bright purple on the lower lid. Lined the top and bottom lids with black eyeliner and black mascara. My lips are bright pink with a bit of shimmer - just how I like it!

Here, you can get a better idea of my hair. I’m doing a nice, lady-like pompadour. Very old fashioned. Also, I’m wearing a nice brown top with multi-colored polka dots. And brown shoes to match, although they’re not pictured.

While I looked nice, I need to wear my glasses if I want to see the screen. Here are my favorite pair of pink glasses, made by Vogue.

When you’re on a date, you wear earrings, even if you’re by yourself. These are some nice star earrings with black and white stripes. As you can see, people with plugs (those big wholes in my ears) can still wear pretty earrings. I just hook them between the plug and the lobe. Simple!

And I did my nails. Some nice French Manicures. That hand is good, but the right doesn’t look nearly as nice, since I did it myself. Oh and yes, those are my real nails.

Well, that’s it! I’m all ready to go! I’m super excited to see Iron Man. Not only for Robert Downey Jr., but because I love comic book movies.

Here’s a trailer for Iron Man:

I’ll tell you how it went (in the comment section) when I get back!

Have you gone to a movie by yourself? Would you ever do that?

Wow, okay, that was awesome. The movie was great, as you might imagine.

When I first got to the theatre, there was a huge line. Turns out most of them were there to be advanced tickets for the midnight showing of Indiana Jones tonight.

I don’t blame them. That’s another one I gotta see. Although that one won’t be alone. ;)
