To kick things off, I’ll show you my look for today.  Since I’m wearing some type of blue and red, I decided to bring that to my eye makeup.  Then, I chose a lipstick that would go well with it.

A while back, I did a makeup tutorial using blue, purple, and pink.  I called it Blueberry.

Because, let’s face it, you can’t look your best with that makeup look if your eyebrows are crap.

I love the way I look right after I tweeze my brows because it drastically improves my face.  You can probably see that progression for yourself in some of my makeup tutorials!  I was growing them out last month.

Sometimes I walk around public places like the mall and see people with terrible brows.  I just want to attack them with some tweezers, ya know!  They may be mad at first, but they’d be happy once they looked in the mirror.  Don’t people realize?!

Eyebrows!  Never forget about the eyebrows!

Every season, there’s some color trend out there that’s getting all the hype.  And that’s of course where sayings like “Orange is the new pink” come from. (That and Josie and the Pussycats.)

So, what’s the color of this season (upcoming autumn)?  Purple.  This comes in several shades, but plum seems to be the most popular.

To celebrate this new color trend, I thought I’d show you some of the best products in beauty and fashion that have that bit of purple.

Smokey eyes have been in high demand for quite some time now.  While I’ve done some smokey eyes makeup tutorials in the past, why not try another one?

Today, I’m doing a smokey eye, as stated.  I’m also doing a look that uses as few beauty products as possible.  Most of my looks use, like six products.  Today, I’ll only be using four.

Another difference with today’s look is the lips.  Normally, I do some lip gloss or neutral lipstick and that’s it.  Not today!  I’ve got some red lips to show you!

Anyway, the main color scheme is gold, so today’s tutorial is entitled: Gold Smoke.  Makes sense, right?

Did you know that you can completely change your look by first applying a cream base or primer?  It’s true.

This means that you can have one eye shadow routine look two different ways.

Here’s how you use the base:

1. Find a good cream base or primer (more on this near the end of the post).
2. Apply this first.  Put it on your lid wherever you plan on putting shadow.
3. Apply your eye shadow look directly on top of the base.

I wake up some mornings with this overwhelming feeling that I really just don’t want to do anything.  I’d rather sleep.  I imagine I’m not the only one that feels that way sometimes.

In general, though, I feel pumped to start the day.  Well, maybe not pumped, but I’m willing to do it anyway. 

Whether or not you feel like it, you should always try to look your best.  And not just for that boy (or girl) that you have your eye on, but for yourself as well.

It’s interesting to hear about what other people wear when it comes to their makeup – especially eye shadow.  When you get to know someone, you start to see a trend.  You think:
