What’s Your Favorite Makeup Color?
It’s interesting to hear about what other people wear when it comes to their makeup – especially eye shadow. When you get to know someone, you start to see a trend. You think:
Hmm…she wears brown eye shadow a lot. I wonder if that’s her favorite color. Or maybe she just looks best in that.
What colors do you wear a lot?
Since pink is my favorite color, and I wear a lot of clothes with that, pink is often in my overall makeup look. Although lately, I’ve been using a lot of red and yellow.
When you wear that favorite color, is it just because you look good in it, or because it’s your favorite?
For me, it’s both. I try to look good in the makeup I wear, but I also want to represent my favorite colors.

Oh good question! I usually end up doing purples and browns, but I’m not quite sure why. Brown is definitely not my favorite color, but I guess it does make my eyes look good!! I need to venture out though, that’s for sure!

I’ve just started getting into purples. I actually got the idea from your suggestion when I was asking for MAC recommendations. And the fact that purples seems to be way in right now.

Well, my fave color is pink too, but I have green eyes and I find myself reaching for the purples a lot too! I also work in an office and try to do a lot of different neutral looks with different browns. And then for smokey eyes I usually go black and silver…But lately I’ve been trying new things with brighter colors!

Purples do work really well with green eyes. I have green eyes, too and you would think I would use purple more often!

Ooh, interesting topic - I am a massive devotee of the smoky eye! I looooove it! I also love a nice chocolate eyeshadow worn with some bronze eyeliner - it looks preeeeetty
Oh, and GLITTER! I can’t quite get enough of glitter either 
(but it’s definitely a night time look!)

Looks like you get brave with your makeup. Chocolate and bronze…now that’s a great combo!
