Daily Lipstick Look – Thursday 9-4-08

And Lipstick Week soldiers on.

It feels weird knowing that I’ll need to get all prettied up every single day.  I really have no choice this week!  That’s alright, though.

Today, I woke up feeling like getting all dolled up.  I was just raring to get pretty, as opposed to the last few days.

Check out how it ended up:

Aww.  Kitty.  This is me and Liberty.  I don’t like that name, so I call her Kitty.  She’s not my cat, but I live with her.  And love her.

She didn’t want to be in that picture.

And here’s a more serious picture.  You can see the makeup better:

Pretty eyes.  It’s rare that I line completely around my eye.  It’s good though.  I should do it more often.

Or, I should reserve it for when I really want to make an impression.

As for the lips, here’s a close-up:

I wanted to do something a bit muted today, but still something special.

Here’s what I used:

I used the Lustreglass on top of the lipstick to add a whole lot of shine and shimmer.  You can really tell that from the photograph.

Wanna know the thing I’m most excited about today?  You’ll think it’s weird.  Tonight, I’m going to buy a 12 pack of Canada Dry Green Tea Ginger Ale.

I saw this crazy and wonderful soda at Walgreens recently.  It sounded so yummy.  But I didn’t buy it.  Why?  Caffeine.  I don’t do caffeine for various reasons, both physical and otherwise.

It having green tea in it gave me pause, though.  When a product gets caffeine artificially added, like in Mountain Dew, it’s listed in the ingredients.  When it comes from a natural source, like tea or chocolate, they don’t have to list it.

So, how am I supposed to know?

I read online that it has caffeine, but a negligible amount.  Very very little.  Since I let myself eat chocolate and drink decaf coffee (both having a very little bit of caffeine), I’m going to let myself drink this.

I hope it’s good!

If any of you have tried it, let me know.  I wonder if it’s all it’s cracked up to be.

Yum… Green Tea Ginger Ale.

See you tomorrow!
