Face of the Day – 10/27/08 – Early Voting
What kind of makeup do you wear when you vote early for the US presidential elections? I don’t know about you, but I did some sunrise eyes. I guess I wanted to do something sunny and warm and optimistic.
Take a gander:
This is one of my favorite looks, and I hadn’t done it in a while. Today seems like as good a day as any.
Here’s the products and techniques I used:
Eyes:
- All shadow colors from Elite Pro Cosmetics 88 Eye Shadow Pallet. Red at outer corner, then orange, greenish-yellow, and yellow at the inner eye.
- L’Oreal Pencil Perfect Eyeliner in black, bottom lid water line only.
- Maybelline the Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara in Glam Black, top and bottom lashes.
Lips:
- Lip Smackers Celestial Strawberry Lip Gloss
Now that voting is out of the way, I don’t have to worry about this election anymore. And I always love an opportunity to look adorable. There was a guy in line ahead of me that was pretty cute, but I ignored it. I mean, trolling for dates in line at the polling place? That’s a little weird.
Still, makeup = immaculate.
