Tweezerman is one of the most well-respected tweezer brands out there today. They are a tad bit more expensive than the cheap brands, but they aren’t as expensive as professional tweezers.

I decided to try out the portable version of their slanted tweezer, Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezer.

Let’s see how it does.

How well does it work?

These tweezers are very sturdy.

I bought a pair of tweezers for a few dollars once at a drug store. They were very cheap, and the metal bent when I squeezed the tines together, pulling out a hair. BAD.

The Tweezerman Mini Slant Tweezers work very well because they have a sturdy, un-bendable design. The slanted end seemed very precise. No hairs slipped through when I went to tweeze.

How is the size?

The tweezers are referred to as ‘mini’ and that’s definitely accurate. I have smallish hands, so I was able to grasp the eyebrow tweezers just fine.

If you have big hands, this may be hard to use.

Is it portable?

Yes. In fact, portability seems to be the whole point to these tweezers. They come with a clear plastic tube with a cap on it, so you can easily carry your tweezers with you in your makeup bag.

Personally, I don’t carry around tweezers, but this would be good if you’re going on a somewhat long trip somewhere. (Or, if you’re like someone I know that thinks she needs to tweeze every single day.) Don’t forget a good magnifying mirror, though.

The Final Verdict

These are very good tweezers, and for a reasonable price(~$10) given the quality.

Again, you may want to avoid these if you have big hands. And if you can never see yourself actually traveling with a pair of tweezers, than you may want to get a full-size pair of eyebrow tweezers instead.

Regardless, these are now my favorite pair of tweezers. If I could change anything about them, I would add a squishy comfort grip, but that’s not a really big deal.
