Beauty Review: Dial AntiOxidant Cranberry Body Wash

I love body wash. What did people do before yummy scented soap? I can’t even imagine.

In my quest to smelling like food (as food-scented body wash is the best of anything ever made, ever), I decided to try Dial AntiOxidant Body Wash. It’s Cranberry. Yep. It smells like Thanksgiving dinner.

Well, let’s see how well this body wash did.

How does it smell?

This is always the first question I ask. Have you noticed?

To me, the scent of a body wash is the number one concern. After all, you’re covering your entire body with this stuff.

Dial AntiOxidant Body Wash smells good, at least while you’re using it. It really does smell like sweetened cranberries, like the stuff you get out of a can. (I mean that in a good way.)

The only problem for me is that I couldn’t smell it on my skin once I was out of the shower. I like to smell like my body wash long after I’ve used it. Then again, there are some people out there who think the exact opposite of me. This soap is perfect for them.

How well does it work?

Of course, while scent is important, a soap is useless if it doesn’t clean you.

Luckily, this body wash does. It did a good job of keeping me clean. Not only that, I didn’t notice any soapy residue like you get with some brands. It washed right off.

Also, the soap didn’t dry me out. My skin felt soft afterward.

The Final Verdict

While Dial AntiOxidant Body Wash works well enough at cleaning me, I am disappointed at how light the scent was. After all, they highlight this product’s cranberry scent. In that way, the whole experience is sort of forgettable.

But like I said, some people prefer their body wash to be light on the scent. And for them, this is the perfect body wash. Because of that, I give it a…

  1. That sounds like it would work for me then, I love the scent of cranberries but don’t like scents clinging to me all the time. Thanks!

  3. i think it smells and feels awesome on my skin i loooove this body wash!

  4. It also works for acne!

  5. Very weak soap. It doesn’t take care of the body odor. Although it lathers well, it doesn’t clean body well. After 20-30 minutes, the scent completely disappears, and the skins feels tight. Typical generic soap that is made of chemicals. What’s good about it? It has beautiful red color and it smells nice while you are in the shower.
