Is Your City Hurting Your Skin?
Total Beauty came out with a list of the 13 Worst-Skin Cities (In the U.S.). Is your city one of the worst?
I fully expected mine, Missoula, Montana, to be one of them. When I moved here from Minnesota, my skin just dried right up. Before, I could get by with a very light face lotion. Now, I have to slather on the really good stuff if I don’t want my whole face to flake off.

It most certainly is! Here in California the water is hard! And living right next to the beach that’s connected to the Port of Long Beach doesn’t help either! I remember using one of those paper testers and seeing it fast track it’s way to the “extremely hard” section of the test.
My poor skin has suffered the most from hard water.
