Face of the Day 02-03-2010 Spring is Coming
Yesterday, Punxsutawney Phil, America’s official groundhog, saw his shadow. Unfortunately, that means there’s six more weeks of winter. Spring isn’t quite here yet, but that won’t stop me from wishing for the end of winter. I hate cold! Bring on the warmth and the green shrubbery!
Pink is one of the many color trends for makeup this spring, which is good for me since that’s my favorite color. For today’s look, I’m busting out the pink. Oh, and a little yellow, too.

I love brightly colored makeup. Bright pink and yellow? Yes please. And I threw in a bit of white for good measure.
I’m wearing Prestige Blushing Duo blush in Hopsack on my cheeks and around to my temples.
For my eyes, I used MAC Eye Shadow in Post Haste in my crease on top of a layer of L’Oreal Wear Infinite eye shadow in Satin Tutu. I also added a bright yellow on my eyelid below the crease and white at the inside corner and up to the brow bone from the Elite Pro Cosmetics 88 Eye Shadow Palette.
I’m wearing Maybelline Define-A-Line eyeliner in Soft Black around the entire eye with Lancome Fatale Mascara in Black on the top and bottom lashes.
Lips-wise, I’ve got on a layer of Mary Kay MK Signature NouriShine Lip Gloss in Gold Rush.
