Is it spring yet? No? Darn.

March is my birthday month. Granted, mine birthday is on the 30th, but I’m excited that it’s almost here. I should be scared. Each birthday gets me closer to 30. But I still get excited like I did when I was a kid. Birthday!

Today I did a purple and green look. Guess what I named it. Preen. That’s right, I combined the words like Brangelina and spork. So imaginative!

Here’s what I used for this look:

Face:

• L’Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Honey Beige under my eyes and around my nose and cheeks.
• RAW Minerals Active Veil powder all over.
• Almay Smart Shade Blush in Pink on my cheeks and up to my temples.

Eyes:

• Revlon Matte Eye Shadow in Vintage Lace at the inside corner of my eye and under my eyebrow.
• Barry M Dazzle Dust in #82, a shimmery emerald green on the lid under the crease.
• Elite Pro Cosmetics 88 Eye Shadow Palette two purple colors blended from crease to brow. I also used the darker purple as a liner by applying it wet with a thin brush.
• Maybelline Lash Stiletto Mascara in Very Black on the top and bottom lashes.

Lips:

• Wet N’ Wild 3 of a Kind Stick in #727 Sunset Strip, a shimmery dark pink.

In other news, I have been exercising every day since the first of the year and have been counting calories since mid-January. I’ve lost 15 pounds! Good times.
