Face of the Day 04-12-2010 Burgundy
I’ve dyed my hair! Rather than the typical blond or brown or black, I’ve gone with Burgundy.
On the hair dye box, the color looked more like a purplish-brown, but it came out more like a reddish-purplish-brown, which is fine by me!
In order to celebrate my new, dark burgundy hair, I’ve decided to do my makeup to match today. It’ll be just as dark and smoky as the color of my hair. Here, take a look:
Yay! I match!
Here’s the products I used for this burgundy look:
Eyes:
- Revlon Matte Eye Shadow in Vintage Lace at the inside corner of the eye and under the brow.
- Revlon Satin Eye Shadow in Shimmering Sienna from crease to brow.
- Cupcake Cult Eye Shadow in some kind of red color over the sienna shadow to make it more red.
- L’Oreal Wear Infinite eye shadow in Satin Tutu on the lid below the crease.
- Elite Pro Cosmetics 88 Eye Shadow Palette black color used in the crease to make it smoky and applied wet as an eyeliner on the top lid.
- Prestige Soft Blend Khol Eyeliner in Jet Black applied along the lower lash line and smudged in.
- Avon Super Extend Mascara in Black on the top and bottom lashes.
Lips:
- Avon Ultra Color Rich Mega Impact Lipstick in Brilliant Berry
Ahh, I love this look. I look fancy! I’m totally ready for a date or something, looking like this.
How do you like my new hair? How about the look? Let me know in the comments.

The makeup is very pretty and I love the hair color, it suits you.
