Makeup Tutorial: Candycane Eye Shadow (VIDEO)

I hear so often that people can’t seem to pull off red or pink eye shadow. They say, “Oh, that’s not for me. I look terrible in pink or red” and then they stop trying.

Today, I decided to show you how to use red and pink eye shadow to create an adorable look. All eye shadow colors were matte. I’ve dubbed it Candycane. And, as luck would have it, it’s a video makeup tutorial!

  1. Thanks for the tutorial. This is such a pretty look, I love the color combo. I hear people complaining they cant pull off pinks and reds but I don’t think that’s true, I think you just have to find the right shade. And this is a beautiful and wearable way to use the colors :)

  2. I think one of the problems with red shadow is that most people apply it in the crease, and they end up looking sick. But crease eye shadow is only one way to do your eyes. That’s why I chose to apply the colors vertically instead of horizontally.
