Walgreen’s recently had a sale on Sinful Colors nail polishes, making them $0.99 instead of $1.99. I was so there.

In my little Sinful Colors haul, I got…

• This Is It, a shimmery gold color.
• Nail Hardener, which I’m using as a clear base coat.
• Social Ladder, a shimmery, slightly pinkish iridescent color.

I didn’t make any swatches for the Nail Hardener. It’s clear!

My nails have been peeling like crazy lately, so I thought this would help. After using it for the past few weeks, it seems to be working at reducing the peel.

Also, the Sinful Colors Nail Hardener makes nail polish last longer, even though I’ve only been using it as a base coat.

This Is It, 3 Coats

This shimmery gold, Sinful Colors This Is It, is awesome. The only problem is that it takes many coats if you want it to be a stand-alone nail color. The picture uses 3 coats, but I ended up adding one more coat.

This would also work well as a top coat to add a gold shimmer to other nail polishes.

It lasted a good 5 days before starting to chip, though I had the Nail Hardener underneath.

Social Ladder, 3 Coats

I’d climb this ladder! Sinful Colors Social Ladder is shimmery and iridescent. Even at 3 coats, I could still see the nail underneath. The thing is, I actually liked the way that looked.

This is a good polish color if you want a neutral, yet super pretty, nail polish.

It also lasted 5 days before starting to chip. Again, I had the Nail Hardener underneath.

The Final Verdict

All three of these shades from Sinful Colors looked great and lasted a long time. Social Ladder was my favorite. My only problem with the shades were that they went on kind of thin, needing at least 3 coats. For these reasons, I give all three polishes a…
