Nails of the Day: Green and Gold
I wanted to try something different today. Instead of just using one nail polish color, I wanted to layer.
So, I went in this order…
- Sinful Colors Nail Hardener as a base coat
- Sinful Colors in Happy Ending, a green polish in 2 coats
- Sinful Colors in This Is It, a gold polish in 1 coat.
This is how it turned out:
Nice, huh? I really wasn’t sure about adding the layer of gold, but it actually made the green look better.
I could have probably given the green just one more coat so it wasn’t so see-through, but oh well. I still like it.
How was your weekend? I spent quite a bit of time working on my NaNoWriMo novel. I’m ahead of word count and totally liking my novel so far. Good times!
