Face of the Day: NYC IndividualEyes

I dyed my hair! It’s a nice vibrant fake-looking red color. Exactly what I wanted. Check it out:

I used the Wet N Wild Natural Blend Lip Shimmer in Cinnamon on my lips.
The NYC IndividualEyes Custom Compact comes with a primer, illuminator and 4 eye shadow shades. I used all of this in the look.
I spread the primer all over my lid and up to the brow bone, and the illuminator just under my eyebrow and at the inside corner of the eye.
Then I used the lightest shade at the inside corner of the eye, the second lightest shade on the lid, the next shade all over, and the darkest shade in the crease.
The colors didn’t create as much dimension as I’d like, but it was still a nice neutral look. I think I’ll need to practice with it a bit more.
To complete the look, I lined my eyes with Maybelline Define-A-Line Eyeliner in Ebony Black and coated my lashes with Maybelline the Colossal Volum’ Express Mascara in Glam Black.

I just colored my hair too and it’s supposed to be burgundy! lol My hair is naturally super dark, almost black, and in most light that’s what it looks like, but in sunlight then it looks just about the same as yours in that picture.
The eye look turned out great! How does that primer work, did you get any fading or creasing after awhile? Or does it really work? I check those out every time I’m in the store but end up putting them back. I think I might pick up one of them, especially if the primer really does work as a primer. Or…I’ll just wait for a good sale and get two! lol
Thanks, Donna! The primer is some of the best I’ve ever tried. It’s smooth and lasts all day. I didn’t see any creasing. I’ve started using it for all looks, even when I’m using eye shadows from another palette.
