Homemade Pore Strips? Yes Please!

I stumbled on a really awesome recipe for homemade pore strips.

You know the kind: you spread it across your nose and it pulls all the dirt out of your pores in a really gross/awesome way.

But, get this, you can use it on your entire face.

Yeah. Awesome.

The recipe is from Allison Czarnecki of Petit Elefant: How to: pore strips.

I’m SO going to try this soon. I’ll let you know how it goes when I do.

  1. Thanks for the recipe! But, just for clarification: Dirt isn’t ever a factor with what strips remove. Contrary to popular belief or claims on the packaging. It’s merely oxidized oils interacting with the air to turn black.

  2. I just tried this lastnight! It made my skin very soft but it wasn’t very effective in removing white or black heads after leaving it on for 20 minutes…I may have needed to wait longer? I will try it again because the softness alone was awesome. Beware: it does hurt a bit if you apply to you whole face because it clings to tiny hairs around your hairline 🙂
    Thanks for the recipe!
