Nutrisystem Nation Week 1 Results

nutrisystemLogoI am officially done with one week of Nutrisystem on my 4 month journey.

Time is a funny thing. Normally, it goes by so quickly for me. One week will feel like just a few days. Without even realizing it, an entire month will go by.

Then I started Nurtisystem. It’s like my brain thought, “oh, you want to see results quickly? You really want to be skinny? Okay…time to slow down time.”

Seriously. I feel like I’ve been on Nutrisystem for a month, and it’s only been a week. Time is going at a snail’s pace. And it could have something to do with the fact that Nutrisystem provides 4 meals a day. 4 meals for 7 days equals 28 meals. That’s a lot of food!

But you’re not here to listen to me blather on about time. Nope, you want to know my week 1 results on Nutrisystem.

I lost 6.4 pounds this week! 6.4 whole pounds in only 7 days. Well, I’d say that’s a good start if I ever saw one. I followed the plan 100%, including drinking tons of water. I deserve this.

My weight loss won’t always be that big. Big numbers like that are common in the first week or two of a diet. It’ll start to stabilize later on and average 1 to 2 pounds lost per week. But it doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy this!

Speaking of enjoyment, I took a picture of one of my favorite dinners this week.

SuperPizzaOn the bottom right is the Nutrisystem Thick Crust Pizza, with some added vegetables. Plus, on the left, steamed vegetables with hummus on top and some cashews. It was really yummy.

Did you know? Nutrisystem provides the entrée for 4 meals each day, but it’s up to you to add side stuff like vegetables and fruits. It’s actually required. Hence the zucchini, tomato, hummus, broccoli and cashews from this dinner.

Disclosure: Nutrisystem is providing their program and support services free of charge for my participation in the Nutrisystem Nation Blogging Program.

  1. Congrats Trisha! Good luck with your weight loss 🙂

  2. Congrats! That’s a lot of weight off your back, Trisha! How do you feel about this diet? Does it make you feel hungry all the time?

    • Nope, I don’t feel hungry all the time, which is good. A few times I felt ravenous, but it was my mind. My food addict self wanting to eat everything ever invented ever. But I wasn’t hungry physically, so I ignored it.

  3. Wow! Thats great! I can’t wait to start my Nutrisystem, I’m actually exited to jump on the scale! Woohoo! I linked to your Nutriystem tag on my site, as I will do for all weigh-ins! 🙂

    • I was just as excited to begin as you are. And I’m still really excited. Thanks for linking to my site and I’ll totally keep up with your posts once you start!

  4. Congratulations on such an awesome first week! You’ve inspired me to add zucchini to my mixed up vegies each week!

    • I’ve been eating a ton of zucchini. You should totally try it raw. Few people know you can eat it that way. Cut it up into raw chunks and throw it on a salad. It’s really good.

      And thanks!

  5. That food looks so good! Congratulations on your weight loss !

    • The food really was good. So far, I haven’t come across anything that I thought was gross or disgusting. So that’s good!

      Also, thanks!
