Nutrisystem Nation Week 9 Results and Nutribear 20 Photostory
I’ve already been on Nutrisystem for 9 weeks. Isn’t that crazy? Time is really flying by.
I’m not going to lie: this past week I had a lot of cravings. I wanted to eat, well, everything. Just gorge myself. But, I’m proud to say that I didn’t give in. I didn’t cheat. And the scale really shows that this week.
But before we get to the weigh-in, I need to introduce you to someone.
You may remember that a month ago I got a Nutribear, Pound, in the mail. He was sent to me for free from Nutrisystem to celebrate my 10-pound loss. And I had a fun Nutribear 10 photostory to go with it.
Well, since I surpassed 20 pounds lost, I got another Nutribear.
Meet Commitment, Nutribear 20:
Just like with Pound, Apartment Gnome had to give the go-ahead on Commitment joining the household. Apartment Gnome and Commitment hit it off right away, though. I caught them hanging out in AG’s home amongst the twinkle lights and pretty fake flowers on the ledge between the kitchen and dining area. Instant friends!
Commitment tried to commandeer my SodaStream home soda machine. He said that I couldn’t use it because I’m on a diet. But he’s wrong. Nutrisystem says I can have unlimited diet soda. I’ve been drinking lots of diet caffeine-free cola, diet orange and diet lemon-line throughout this experience. I schooled him!
Commitment took one look at my box of Nutrisystem and dove right into the dessert section, like Scrooge McDuck jumping into a pile of gold coins. “Those aren’t for you, bear.” What a trouble-maker.
The day after Commitment arrived on my doorstep, I got this Lanmei 24-color eye shadow palette in the mail. I actually paid only 15 cents for it, total. I got it at BidRack. That site has some mixed reviews from people never receiving the stuff they won, but I got this a few weeks after winning. So, my experience was good.
Pound and Commitment fought it out over this makeup, so I had to take it away from them. This isn’t for bears.
But, like true siblings should, Pound and Commitment eventually made up. I caught them sitting in the window, looking out over the surrounding nature. Awww.
Now, time for my week 9 weigh-in:
I lost 2.6 pounds this week! That’s a total of 26.6 pounds lost in 9 weeks! Awesome.
I’m really happy with my weight loss so far. I mean…26.6 pounds is a lot of weight. A lot! I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’m excited for once I get skinny. But I’ll talk more about that next week.
My progress so far:
- Week 1: –6.4 pounds
- Week 2: –2.4 pounds (-8.8 total)
- Week 3: –3.8 pounds (-12.6 total)
- Week 4: –2.4 pounds (-15.0 total)
- Week 5: –3.0 pounds (-18.0 total)
- Week 6: –1.6 pounds (-19.6 total)
- Week 7: –3.4 pounds (-23.0 total)
- Week 8: –1.0 pounds (-24.0 total)
- Week 9: –2.6 pounds (-26.6 total)
Have a great week!
