Nutrisystem Nation Week 23 Results and a Dinner Video

I’m so close to a new milestone while on Nutrisystem. I almost made it this week. It’ll be next week instead. Plus, next week you get to meet my new Nutribear. Lucky you!

Speaking of milestones, did you see that I finally passed 50 pounds lost last week? Yeah, that’s a pretty big deal. Exciting, really.

So, some of you may be wondering what a typical meal is like on Nutrisystem. Some think that you just eat the NS meal they provide and that’s it. But that’s not actually the case. There are grocery add-ins as well.

For instance, dinner consists of the NS meal, plus 2 vegetable servings, 1 serving of either a fruit or another vegetable, and one fat serving (such as almonds or olive oil.)

To show you what that all looks like put together, I made a little video.

Sorry about the lack of a tripod. This video was pretty spontaneous as I saw how pretty my dinner looked.

I lost 2.6 pounds this week! That brings my total, over 23 weeks, to 55.4 pounds lost.

  1. Wow, That dinner made me hungry. Looked like a lot more food than I would think you could have and loose weight. Must be all the veggies. Congratulations on your weight loss. I look forward to your Monday posts to see how much you’ve lost.

    • Yeah, you’d be surprised how much I eat. Adding in the huge piles of vegetables really helps to feel full. I’m never hungry, that’s for sure.

  3. Looks so good! The zucchini hash browns are genius :)

    • I think it helps that I put it all on such a pretty plate. 😉

      Tip for those that want to make zucchini hashbrowns:

      Squeeze out the excess moisture from the zucchini after you grate it but before you cook it. If you don’t, it’ll be super soggy. Zucchinis are a lot wetter than potatoes.
