Give Your Lips a Spa Day With Bliss Fabulips

My lips peel. And since my lips are so huge (as you can see from any of my FOTDs on Makeup Files), it can be a real problem.

The prospect of using Bliss Fabulips was a good one. The famous Bliss Spa’s in-house Fabulips treatment was turned into an at-home kit so you could get super soft lips on your own.

The kit comes with four different lip products to be used in a four-step pucker-softening process.

Step 1: Refresh With Foaming Lip Cleanser

Start your lips’ spa day with the Fabulips Foaming Lip Cleanser.

This is the first time I’ve used a cleanser specifically for lips. I tested it out with a red lip and the cleanser removed the red tint easily.

Just pump a very small amount and rub onto lips. Let it set for 20-30 seconds until it foams and then rinse it off.

Bonus: This stuff smells yummy, like pink grapefruit.

Step 2: Retexturize With Sugar Lip Scrub

Remember my peeling lips? Well, they really need a good exfoliator. The Fabulips Sugar Lip Scrub is just what I needed. it rubs away loose skin and impurities to leave you with a fresh, baby-soft pout.

Add a small amount to your finger and rub it over your lips in a circular motion. Then just wipe it off with a damp cloth.

Bonus: This stuff tastes pretty good if it accidentally goes into your mouth. Just don’t eat it!

Step 3: Rejuvenate With Instant Lip Plumper

I don’t need to plump my lips. They’re already huge. But the Fabulips Instant Lip Plumper is still a fun product in the lip-centered spa day.

Turn the bottom of the tube to dispense the gloss. The first time you use this, you’ll have to turn it a lot. I lost count, but I’d say it was over 20 times. Once dispensed, spread over your lips.

Bonus: The minty ingredients both plumps (a little) and soothes (a lot). Nice!

Step 4: Replenish With Softening Lip Balm

The final step in the Bliss Fabulips kit is a balm. The Fabulips Softening Lip Balm smoothes out your lips.

Just take off the cap, turn it, and rub the balm on your lips. It leaves a silky feeling that lasts for a few hours. You can even keep it with you through the day. I wouldn’t, though, since I want it to last as long as the rest of the kit. (As I have a bit of a balm obsession.)

Bonus: This one has a slightly fruity/vanilla scent that’s very subtle and nice.

The Final Verdict

While it took forever to finally dispense the Instant Lip Plumper, there are very few flaws in the Bliss Fabulips kit. It took care of my flaky, peeling lips with ease and left them sleek and soft. I plan to use this any time my lips need a little love.

For these reasons, I give Bliss Fabulips an…
