Sweet Fragrances From the Harvey Prince Holiday Gift Set

Fragrance is a very personal thing. What works for your best friend may not smell right for you and vice versa.

A good way to find your perfect scent is to try the sample sizes. Luckily, Harvey Prince as a Holiday Gift Set with 6 of their signature scents in small, roll-on 8.8 ml bottles.

HPHolidaySampler01You can find your favorite scent and maybe even pick a few other favorites for all of your many moods.

The Harvey Prince Holiday Gift Set comes with Eau Fling, Eau de Lite, Yogini (although I got Eau de Crème instead), Ageless, Eau Flirt and Coupling.

I thought I’d do something a little different and list my reviews of each scent from my favorite to my least favorite.

1. Harvey Prince Eau Fling

Eau Fling has notes of lavender, pumpkin, cinnamon, jasmine, apple and nutmeg.

HPHolidaySampler03This fragrance has a warm, sexy and powdery scent that I love. While I usually avoid spicier scents, this is an exception. While still a bit spicy, it’s ultra-feminine and sensual. There’s no mistaking that this is a scent for women.

2. Harvey Prince Eau de Crème

When I heard about this scent, I was excited: Eau de Crème’s inspiration was ice cream.

HPHolidaySampler04Does it actually smell as sweet as ice cream? Nope. Sure, it’s sweet, but not sweet enough to smell like it was made for a teenager. It has notes of citrus, vanilla, chocolate and rum raisin, all while smelling womanly and adult.

3. Harvey Prince Eau de Lite

This one is different. Harvey Prince promises that Eau de Lite will help with weight loss.

HPHolidaySampler05Basically, they instruct you to roll this on before a meal or when you’re ultra tempted to fall off the weight loss wagon. The sweet, yummy scent is supposed to sate your appetite and quiet hunger.

As you know, I’m having no problems sticking to my weight loss, so this was hard to judge. But, I still loved the fragrance. It starts out smelling very spearmint and sweet, then, with time, morphs into a truly sweet and less minty scent with notes of green apple, jasmine and vanilla.

4. Harvey Prince Coupling

The point of Coupling? Attract your mate with a sexy and alluring scent.

HPHolidaySampler06Coupling is fresh and clean with notes of cucumber, pumpkin, gardenia and jasmine. You can definitely smell the cucumber in this, especially right out of the bottle, but it doesn’t smell like you’re wearing a salad, which is always good.

5. Harvey Prince Ageless

Just like Eau de Lite, Ageless promises an added benefit beyond smelling good. Ageless is promised to be an anti-aging perfume.

HPHolidaySampler07How is it ageless? The scent is supposed to make you feel and smell younger, and I believe it. Ageless was the most youthful of all the scents in the Harvey Prince Holiday Gift Set. It’s sweet and fruity with notes of pink grapefruit, mango, jasmine and ylang ylang. Test this out before you use it though. You might find the youthful scent a little too young for you.

6. Harvey Prince Eau Flirt

Eau Flirt is one of Harvey Prince’s most talked-about scents, but it was my least favorite of the bunch.

HPHolidaySampler08While I definitely didn’t hate it, it was much spicier than I normally like in a scent. It has notes of jasmine, freesia, warm amber and rare woods.

The Final Verdict

I’ve had so much fun these past few weeks testing out the scents from the Harvey Prince Holiday Gift Set. I found so many that I liked and want to keep wearing. All of them are long-lasting and good for a wide variety of occasions. This set is good for those still looking for their signature scent.

For these reasons, I give it an…

  1. What a nice set! Judging by the descriptions, I think I’d like Flirt the most. 🙂

    • I knew you would. 😉 You and I have pretty much the exact opposite opinions when it comes to fragrance, which I think is pretty cool. And I totally thought of you when I tried Eau Flirt. “This is so Gio!”
