Nutrisystem Nation Week 35 Results and a Few Big Deals

Last week, I gained one pound. It was a small, rare gain that left me just a tiny bit bummed.

But, I just kept going, eating my Nutrisystem as always. And, as a result, I hit two really awesome, very-big-deal milestones today.

Let’s start with the weigh-in.

I normally leave the weigh-in to the end of my post, but the numbers are crucial to my milestones. Here’s what the scale said this morning:

week35I lost 3.0 pounds this week! That brings my total to 71.4 pounds lost in the last 35 weeks.

That certainly makes up for the pound I gained last week! Now, on to my milestones.

Milestone: I’ve lost over 70 pounds!

70. Wow! That’s a lot.

And that also means a new Nutribear will be coming my way. I hope she gets here for Christmas!

Milestone: Obese to Overweight!

Have you ever played Wii Fit Plus? When you weigh-in, it yells proudly what your weight status is based on BMI. So, since I got it last Christmas, it’s always said, “That’s obese!”

I’ve been obese most of my adult and teen life. I certainly didn’t feel obese, but I definitely was.

Well, finally, I got to hear the Wii Balance Board say “That’s overweight!”

That’s right: I’m no longer obese.  YAY! (This is a really big deal for me.)

See? I’m just over the cusp into overweight territory. Goodbye, obesity!

Have you ever seen someone so excited to be overweight? Now, I have about 30 pounds to lose before I’m “normal,” and about 50 pounds until I hit my goal.

Awesome!

Here’s my progress over these last 35 weeks:

  • Week 1: –6.4 pounds
  • Week 2: –2.4 pounds (-8.8 total)
  • Week 3: –3.8 pounds (-12.6 total)
  • Week 4: –2.4 pounds (-15.0 total)
  • Week 5: –3.0 pounds (-18.0 total)
  • Week 6: –1.6 pounds (-19.6 total)
  • Week 7: –3.4 pounds (-23.0 total)
  • Week 8: –1.0 pounds (-24.0 total)

  • Week 18: +0.8 pounds (-43.8 total)
  • Week 19: –2.6 pounds (-46.4 total)
  • Week 20: –1.4 pounds (-47.8 total)
  • Week 21: –1.6 pounds (-49.4 total)
