Nutrisystem Nation Week 49 Results

I had the Nutrisystem Chocolate Frosted Donut for breakfast today. Oh man, so yummy. It also makes me wonder how I’ll get my donut fix after I’m done with Nutrisystem.

Can’t exactly go to Dunkin’ Donuts, now can I?

A second holiday season?

Last holiday season, I predicted that I’d gain a little weight. I was right, but it wasn’t a big deal because I’ve lost over 15 pounds since then.

Well, we’re entering another holiday season. What’s that?

My birthday!

My birthday’s at the end of March. Since I started Nutrisystem less than two weeks after my last birthday, this will be my first birthday on the plan.

However, I’ve decided to go off-plan a few times during my birthday week (not this week, but next week.) This won’t be all on the same day, though. It’ll be spread out.

Here are the three ways I’m going off-plan:

  1. Birthday cake. My birthday’s only once a year. I figure I deserve some cake—especially since I didn’t eat cake at other people’s birthdays this year. BUT, I’m thinking of getting it as cupcakes so they’re already portioned.
  2. Red Robin Blue Ribbon Burger. I love Red Robin, and their Blue Ribbon Burger is the stuff dreams are made of. I usually get a free burger deal for my birthday, so I’m going to get my favorite burger. BUT, I’m going to say ‘no’ to fries. I don’t care about them anyway, so why waste the calories? I’m going to ask for steamed broccoli instead.
  3. Famous Dave’s yummy barbecue. I also get a free dinner at Famous Dave’s, a Midwest barbecue restaurant. Mmmmm, barbecue. BUT, I’m going to order from the low-calorie section of their menu.

As you can see, while I’m going off plan, I’m not going crazy.

Still, with those changes, I might not have a good weigh-in on April 2nd. Just be prepared for that. I am.

One more thing: Easter is the weekend after my birthday. That might affect the following weigh-in too. No worries, though.

Oh, you want to know what I weighed this week, right? Here’s what the scale said:

I lost 1.8 pounds this week! That means I’ve lost 85.0 pounds in 49 weeks.

Man, I’m on a roll. A 49-week roll. What an awesome year this has been.
