Nutrisystem Nation Week 50 Results and Nutribear 80 Photostory

I got my first pair of skinny jeans yesterday. They’re a peachy coral color, and I got them at Old Navy. And, coolest of all, they’re size 12. A roomy 12 at that!

Welcome Nutribear 80, Workout

I earned another Nutribear by losing over 80 pounds! So far, you’ve met Pound, Commitment, Community, Determination, Encouragement, Focus and Willpower.

Now you get to meet Nutribear 80, the lovely orange-colored Workout.

My Nutribears like to hang out on one of my chairs. They sit in rainbow order, so now, with Workout, I finally have the O in Roy G. Biv.

NB80-02Since Nutribear 80 is named “Workout” you’d expect that he’d be really encouraging when it comes to exercise—and you’d be right. He rooted me on as I went from 2 pound weights to 8 pound weights.

NB80-03And Workout was there when something really AWESOME happened: I signed up for a 5K race! That’s around 3.1 miles. The Missoula 5K is in early July, so I have a few months to train, with Workout (and friends and family) cheering me on.

Yay! A 5K! You don’t even know how excited and proud of myself I am. I also plan on looking super adorable while running the race, courtesy of a Makeup Files post from a few years ago:  How to Look Cute While Jogging.

This is what the scale said this morning:

week50I lost 1.2 pounds this week! That means I’ve lost 86.2 pounds in the past 50 weeks.

Yeah, I’m doing awesome.

Speaking of awesome, my birthday’s on Friday. Happy birthday to me!

Just as a reminder, I prophesized that I’d maybe gain a little weight for the weigh-in after my birthday (next Monday). So, don’t be freaked out if I do. No worries!
