Nutrisystem Nation Week 60 Results and New Desserts

Last week I gained weight inexplicably. I mentioned that I saw a trend where I’d lose more weight on weeks I didn’t exercise much/at all.

While I never did figure out exactly what that was about, there is one consolation: I’m not the only one. I asked my weight loss group on Fitocracy about it, and several of them noticed the same thing with their own weight loss.

Hey, at least I’m not alone!

Some New Nutrisystem Desserts

Nutrisystem has a few new desserts! These are from their stock of shelf stable/pantry items, and I jumped at the chance to try them.

They now have…

  • Chocolate Sandwich Cookies. These Oreo clones come three-in-a-pack and taste just like the real thing. I was happy with the consistency and yumminess of the cream in the middle (my favorite part). Super good choice for Oreo lovers.
  • Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar. Nutrisystem has had a bar with this name under the lunch category for as long as I can remember. The difference between the lunch and dessert Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars is that this one is a lot more like a candy bar. The chocolate is softer and thicker and the peanut butter taste is stronger. And yummy!

I liked both new desserts, so I’ll be adding these to my order from now on (especially the Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar). It’s always nice to try something new!

Let’s weigh in, shall we?

Time to see how I did this week.

week60I lost 3.8 pounds this week! That means I’ve lost 92.2 pounds in 60 weeks!

I’ve finally lost over 90 pounds! I’m excited to get my next Nutribear.

Now I have less than 10 pounds until I’m out of the “overweight” category and into “healthy.” And less than 30 pounds (from now) until I hit my goal weight.

Just in case your wondering, I exercised all week, so I guess I don’t always lack weight loss on exercise weeks. Sometimes the human body is just a mystery.

Body measurements, y’all!

I measure spots on my body every 4 weeks to help me get an idea of how I’m doing. Here are the changes from week 56 to now:

  • Upper Arm: No Change (-4.75 inches total)
  • Chest: -0.25 inches (-12.5 inches total)
  • Waist: No Change (-11.75 inches total)
  • Hips: -0.5 inches (-12.5 inches total)
  • Thigh: -0.25 inches  (-6.25 inches total)

That means I’ve lost 1 inch overall in the last 4 weeks, and 47.75 inches total over 60 weeks.
