Nutrisystem Nation Week 63 Results and Nutribear 90 Photostory

Two weeks until my 5K race! I’m pretty excited, to be honest. And you’ll read all about it in my week 65 Nutrisystem post.

In the meantime…

NutrisystemSuccess

Welcome Nutribear 90, Success!

I’ve earned another Nutribear by losing over 90 pounds. Go me! So far, of the Nutribears, you’ve met Pound, Commitment, Community, Determination, Encouragement, Focus, Willpower and Workout.

Now it’s time to meet Nutribear 90, the ever-black Success.

When he first arrived, Success was greeted by all of his brothers and sisters. They were super welcoming, which was nice for Success, because he was pretty nervous.

NB90-02Success got here right after I achieved my own success in completing the Couch to 5K program. Still, he sat by my new Nike running skort to congratulate me, even if he wasn’t here to see me complete it. (And he’s ultra-excited to see me cross the 5K finish line in two weeks.)

NB90-03About a month ago, I got a bread machine at a garage sale. I’ve been making awesome bread ever since (incorporating it into my diet as an occasional SmartCarb serving). And, to stay healthy, I’ve been using a book called The Best Low-Fat, No-Sugar Bread Machine Cookbook Ever.

Well, just the other day I made the best loaf yet, but this time with a twist. It was a chocolate bread, but instead of using unsweetened cocoa, I used two packets of Nutrisystem Creamy Chocolate shake powder. It was delicious, and while my back was turned, Success took a bite.

This bear’s going to be a trouble-maker.

Let’s weigh in.

This is what the scale said this morning:

week63I lost 5 pounds this week! That means I’ve lost 94.2 pounds total over 63 weeks.

Holy moly!

Remember my post about losing more weight on weeks that I couldn’t exercise? Well, this was one of those weeks. I had 5 days straight of allergy headaches and 2 days of vertigo, so I couldn’t go for a run. And then I lose five pounds. Weird, but I’m happy with it anyway.

Yay! And that fully makes up for the weight I’d gained after Father’s Day last week.

Here’s my progress from the start:

  3. Love your milestone bears but you’ve got to keep an eye on them ;) So interesting that you uses the NS shake mix to make the bread! Wow what a great weight loss week. You’re so close to a huge milestone but I’m not sure you have many more pounds to lose, especially after seeing week 64′s after picture.
