Nutrisystem Nation Week 69 Results and a Mystery Only a Hot Guy Can Solve

Three weeks until the end of my time on Nutrisystem!

You know how mysterious weight loss can be sometimes? If you didn’t have an inkling, you will in a minute.

Let’s get right to the weigh-in.

Here’s what the scale said this morning:

week69I gained 0.4 pounds this week. That means I’ve lost 97.2 pounds total in 69 weeks.

Less than a pound gain isn’t a big deal. But, what’s weird is that I didn’t do anything different this week compared to last week. I had pretty much the same activity and same meals. But, where I lost 1.2 pounds last week, I gained 0.4 this week.

Mysterious! Maybe we should get the ever-hot Sherlock Holmes (of course played by Robert Downey Jr.) on the case.

I think he’ll probably find out that it was just hormones.

Here’s my weekly progress from the beginning:

  1. How do you plan to proceed on your diet after Nutrisystem? I have read many accounts by people who have done great on some of these diet plans but tend to gain back after the guesswork is added back into their lives. I am thinking of starting Nutrisystem but I have 3 others in my family to cook for who are pickier eaters when it comes to veggies and healthful food so the challenge will be on if I decide to try and cook myself. I just think that Nutrisystem may help to get me jump started at least. Thanks in advance for any helpful suggestions.

    • Very good question, Adrienne!

I’m going to be posting my future plans in detail in a few weeks, but here’s a couple ways I’ve been ensuring my success after Nutrisystem:

      • I live alone, so that makes it easier to choose what I eat.
      • I’ve been peppering in cooking recipes throughout my journey to test out what it will be like.
      • I’ve experimented with eating out or having cake on my birthday to see how I can handle it.
      • I bought a whole bunch of low-calorie cook books.
      • I plan on tracking my calories.

There’s always a chance that you’ll gain everything back, especially if you’re not mindful of what you eat after Nutrisystem. You can’t go back to how you ate before. But, it’s still worth giving it another shot.

Hopefully, you’ll be able to convince you family to eat better! And if you’re the cook, they don’t really have much of a say, do they? ;)
