Nutrisystem Nation Week 70 Results and a Video About Unexpected Changes

Only two weeks left on Nutrisystem, and I have a lot to say today.

First, I have a video about unexpected changes (which is worth a watch just to see how much smaller I am now!). Then, the weigh-in and a very helpful graph. Let’s get started!

5 Unexpected Changes After Losing Almost 100 Pounds

Of course, there will be a lot of changes after losing so much weight. For instance, I’m totally going to be smaller. And generally healthier.

However, after losing almost 100 pounds, I’ve seen several changes that I definitely wasn’t expecting. So, I made a video about it! Check it out:

Look how much smaller I am now!

Also, stay tuned. Next week I’m going to have another video. I’ll be talking about my plans for after Nutrisystem and how I’m going to stay on track (and how it will affect Makeup Files.)

Time for a weigh-in.

This is what the scale said this morning:

week70I gained another 0.4 pounds this week. That means I’ve lost a total of 96.8 pounds over 70 weeks.

Well, that’s a bummer. Not so much for the gain as it is for how you, my readers, must see me. A gain two weeks in a row? That must look bad.

The lamest thing is that my weight was really great two days ago. See, although my official weigh-in is only on Mondays, I track my weight every day. I thought I’d make a graph of my weight change for this past week, so you can see how much of a rollercoaster ride it can be:

This shows each day of the week’s change in weight as compared to my weigh-in last Monday. So, for instance, Thursday, I weighed 1 pounds less than I did Monday.

If only my weigh-in was two days ago! Instead, I end the week on a high note. Blah!

It’s like my body knows that I want to reach 100 pounds lost by the end of Nutrisystem, and it’s decided to be a total Grinch about it. Bah humbug! (It could also be because I ate some saltier stuff the last few days and have a load of water weight. Either one.)

Anyway, here’s my progress from the beginning:

  1. Trisha, What a great video! You seem more comfortable doing the video and its fun to watch. Also, how interesting about the things you don’t expect to change when you loose 100 lbs. So happy for you about the lack of migraines, that is awesome! You seem to enjoy the new you and you deserve every minute of it. You look beautiful and obviously feel beautiful too.

  2. hehe my beautifulness, I like that term :P I enjoyed that video very much. Socks? I definitely wouldn’t have expected that! Your journey has been so amazing and inspiring to follow, don’t worry about the little gains because you have accomplished so much!

The socks surprised me the most. I put on some nice long socks once the weather got cold last winter and I’m like, “What? Why are these so loose?”

  3. This was a great video! No one ever thinks about the various changes you’ve brought up and it’s great to have someone mention them. Let’s us with 100+ pounds still to lose know what is going to be coming our way. I’m really hoping that I’ll be able to share a similar success story about weight loss in the future.

  4. You are a ROCK STAR.

  5. Great video, Trisha! You are so cute and charming and loved hearing about all the unexpected changes… I laughed at the one about having kid hands/feet! And I’ve been through the same thing about how your shape will stay the same even after you lose. I’m convinced that if I was at my goal weight, I will still have this stupid pooch below my belly button. Meh, in the grand scheme of things, it’s better to have this little pooch than to have the gigantic lumpy butt I had before, lol.

Anyway, keep up the amazing work! I’ve loved reading about your journey this past year or so. You’re an inspiration! xo

  6. Trisha! I love the video!

I thought you’ve always looked great – before, during, and after the weight loss – and I am SO GLAD to hear about all the positive things that have come from this journey. You are such an inspiration! Thank you for sharing your story. :)

Keep up the good work. I’m over here rootin’ for ya!
