Nutrisystem Nation Week 71 Results, a Milestone and a Video

It’s my second-to-last week on Nutrisystem, and I have quite a bit to say!

First, we’ll talk about a (really cool) weight loss milestone I reached this week. Then, you can watch a video about my future. Finally, the weigh-in. Let’s get started!

NutrisystemSuccess

Single Digits?!

I bought my first pair of size 10 jeans about four months ago. That was such a big deal for me!

Well, lately, those 10s have been feeling really loose. I decided to head over to Old Navy this weekend to see if I’d graduated to a smaller size.

And…

I’m now a size 8!!!

I’m sure you realize how big of a deal that is. Single digit sizes are hard to achieve. And I’ve never fit in this small of a size. Not as an adult and not as a teen.

It’s so exciting!!!!

(See how it says “Short” on the jeans I bought? That indicates the length of the legs. I have super short legs, so I get “Short” whenever possible. Yay for short legs!)

My Weight Loss Plans After Nutrisystem

Many of you have been asking about how I plan to keep losing weight once I’m done with Nutrisystem next week. After all, I have a little over 20 pounds left to lose.

I made a video to answer that question!

Products mentioned in this video:

If you can’t watch the video or don’t have the time, here’s the gist:

  • I’m going to use what I’ve learned on Nutrisystem.
  • I’m counting calories.
  • I’m using the At Home Tool Kit from Nutrisystem.
  • I’m cooking from low-calorie cookbooks.

Also, I plan to still update Makeup Files about my weight loss progress, just not once a week. You’ll hear from me when I reach big milestones (like hitting my goal weight!) or when I have tips and tricks.

Thanks, everyone!

It’s that weigh-in time again.

This is what the scale said:

week71I lost 2.0 pounds this week! That means I’ve lost 98.8 pounds total in the last 71 weeks.

So, if I want to lose 100 pounds total for my last week of Nutrisystem, that’s only 1.2 pounds. It just might happen!

Don’t forget to stop by next week for my final Nutrisystem post! I’m going to have lots of stats about my journey and some before and after pictures!

  1. Congrats! You look great! I’m sure you’ll be at 100 pounds in no time.

As for low-calorie recipes, you may want to try The Happy Herbivore (happyherbivore.com). There are some great recipes on the website, I especially like a lot of the baked goods like pumpkin bread and molasses cookies.

  3. First of all, I’ve been following your journey for several months. You look BEAUTIFUL! I just wanted to chime in and say that my results on NutriSystem really started to show when I started counting calories. As a woman, I aim for 1250 or more each day. (More, particularly, when I do a hard workout) I use the app on LoseIt.com.

    Congratulations!
