A Glimpse at Pixi’s New Products for Fall

Don’t tell me it’s almost fall…You’re making me sad! I want it to be summer forever!

But, alas, the seasons change. And one good thing about that change is new beauty products. That’s where Pixi comes in.

pixiFall2012-01New for fall, Pixi has the Shade Quartette and the Natural Brow Duo.

The Shade Quartette, an eye shadow quad, comes in three different color combinations: Shades of Nude, Shades of Taupe and Shades of Peach.

I got to try the Shades of Peach, pictured above. It comes with three shimmery shades and one matte.

As is usually the case with Pixi eye shadows, these are super soft and blend really well. This quad is best for those who want a subtle, neutral eye shadow look, as all four colors are super similar and understated.

You can find the Shade Quartette at Target or Pixi’s Website for $22.

pixiFall2012-03The Natural Brow Duo definitely lives up to its name. If you’ve read my book, The Complete Eyebrow Guide, you know that, usually, eyebrow pencils create a somewhat harsh and unrealistic eyebrow look.

While this duo comes with a pencil (retractable!), it tends to create a soft and realistic, natural line. In essence, it works like a pencil and looks like a powder. Love it!

On the other end, there’s some tinted eyebrow gel. This is a good one because it keeps eyebrows in place while also adding the slightest tint of color. The Natural Brow Duo comes in only one color: Medium Brown.

You can find the Natural Brow Duo at Target or Pixi’s Website for $15.

Of these two new fall Pixi products, which one do you want to try the most?

  1. I like the palette. The colors are really nice for fall and the packaging is cute too.

  2. The Shade Quartettes are perfect for travel so you’re not carrying tons of individual shadows! The Natural Brow Duo looks great too…I hate when products make my brows too dark so this looks just right!

  3. ohhhhh those shadows do look lovely! FOTD, possibly? 🙂 I’m super excited for fall makeup too

  4. I’m always afraid to try eyebrow pencil because it seams to look too fake. I think I will try this one.My eyebrows are too light and do need some color, I’ll have to go to Target, soon.
