I Finally Lost 100 Pounds!

Regulars at Makeup Files know about my weight loss journey. I’d been on Nutrisystem for 72 weeks and had almost lost 100 pounds. Now, some of you might have been wondering how I’ve been. After all, statistically speaking, I could’ve already started gaining it all back.

Well, some good news today.

I’ve finally lost 100 pounds!!!!!

(There aren’t enough exclamation points in the world for that statement.)

Here’s what the scale said this morning.

finally100-01(Sorry for the blurry picture. I have really terrible lighting in my bathroom, which makes putting on makeup pretty difficult.)

I started out on April 11, 2011 at 255.6 pounds. Today, 78 weeks later, I’m not at 155.4 pounds.

That’s 100.2 pounds lost in 72 weeks!!

Speaking of awesome stuff: As you know, while I was on Nutrisystem, I’d get Nutribears for every 10 pounds I lost. Although I hadn’t hit 100 while on the program, Nutrisystem graciously sent me a 100 pound bear anyway. They said it’d give me motivation to finally hit that goal.

finally100-02I kept that poor Nutribear in the box this whole time. I wouldn’t let myself open it until I hit 100. Well, today I opened it.

I thought Nutribear 100, Dedication, would be mad for being in there for about six weeks. Nope! He was super polite and awesome.

finally100-04And as happy to see me as I was to see him!

What’s Up Next?

Though Nutrisystem helped me lose almost all of this weight, I used a different method for the last few pounds. I’ll have a post up about that later this week so you can see how I lost over 5 pounds in a week (no lie!).

Also, while losing 100 pounds is a super duper big deal, this isn’t my final goal. I have 20.4 pounds until I hit my final goal weight of 135 pounds. It may take months to reach that, but when I do, you’ll be the first to know!

Stay tuned!
