Nails of the Day: 5 Shades of Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought I’d give myself a very pink manicure for the occasion. And it doesn’t hurt that it’s my favorite color!
Instead of going with just one shade of pink, I thought I’d use a different shade for each nail, going from pale pink to bright red.
I used, from thumb to pinky…
- Wet N Wild Megalast Nail Polish in Sugar Coat
- Wet N Wild Wild Shine Nail Polish in Tickled Pink
- Runts Scented Nail Polish in Strawberry
- Pink Cookie Nail Polish in Pink
- Wet N Wild Megalast Nail Polish in I Red a Good Book
I like how it turned out! And the thumb and pinkie colors gave me a good idea for a different, future manicure.
Speaking of which…
Can I get your advice?
I’m heading out for a business trip in a little over a week and am trying to think of a good manicure for the occasion. It’s an event with fellow writers and literary agents, so it doesn’t have to be super business-like.
I’m thinking of going with my idea from my current manicure: Sugar Coat on the nail and I Red a Good Book as a red-tipped French manicure. What do you think? Any other suggestions?
I’ll show you what I come up with before I leave.
