Natural Essentials Shampoo and Dry Oils Smell Wonderful
Imagine walking around with a little cloud of the best smelling fragrance ever floating around your head. As the wind blows, the tropical cloud tickles the nose of anyone standing by. They compliment you on your awesome scent. Life is grand.
That’s what happened to me while reviewing the Natural Essentials hair products!
- Natural Essentials Strengthening Dry Oil ($9.99)
- Natural Essentials Nourishing Shampoo ($5.99)
- Natural Essentials Nourishing Conditioner ($5.99)
- Natural Essentials Healing Dry Oil ($9.99)
And, the most notable thing about my Natural Essentials review is the scent!
This stuff smells tropical and lovely. The shampoo and conditioner both smell like a pina colada, but with a little bit of extra fruit for good measure. That’s because it uses real coconut, mango and acai. Yum!
As far as actual cleaning-power, this shampoo and conditioner is pretty average. It works just as well as any of the good stuff you’d find at the drug store.
The dry oils are pretty neat. They’re hair oils, but they aren’t all heavy and greasy. They’re called “dry” oil because they are light and they reduce your hair’s drying time.
The Strengthening Dry Oil is for normal to dry hair and the Healing Dry Oil is for dry to damaged hair. I didn’t notice a difference between the two, which maybe means I have dry hair…
Again, the scent of both of these was great. They have two different scents, but they’re both tropical, slightly fruity and very lovely.
The Cool Thing About the Scent
I’m no stranger to good-smelling hair products. In fact, the Suave Professionals Moroccan Infusion line I reviewed recently smelled like awesome warm vanilla sugar. However, the scent wasn’t very strong once all was said and done. You could only smell it if you stuck your nose right into my hair.
And that would be awkward.
What sets Natural Essentials apart is that the scent sticks with you. I wasn’t kidding at the beginning of this review when I said it was like a cloud surrounding my head. And I really did get compliments.
Now, having a cloud of scent wouldn’t be good if you didn’t like the way the stuff smelled. But, I did, so it was awesome.
In fact, I was supposed to start reviewing another shampoo/conditioner duo, but kept putting it off because I wanted to keep smelling like a cloud of tropical fruits.
Oh, the troubles of being a beauty blogger…
Natural Essentials Review: The Final Verdict
The Natural Essentials shampoo, conditioner and dry oils get an emphatic A+ for the scent. I could go on forever about how great it was. However, the products were pretty average with their cleaning and styling power. So, when that evens out, I give Natural Essentials a…
