Face of the Day: Pumpkin Pie Makeup Look

There are two things happening right now: I’m listening to the Top Disney Classics channel on Slacker Radio (“Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down!”), and I’m thinking about pumpkin pie.

See, pumpkin pie is my favorite. I could eat it every day, it’s so tasty. I thought to myself…

Hi, Self! How about a pumpkin pie makeup look for today’s FOTD?

Good idea! Let’s see what I came up with.

FOTD: Pumpkin Pie Makeup LookWhy pumpkin pie? Because my eye shadow sort of looks like crust on the bottom and yummy orange pumpkin filling on the top.

Look at those lips. I put a bit of LUSH A Million Kisses Lip Tint on there. I’ve been in a red lips kind of mood lately.

FOTD: Pumpkin Pie Makeup Look Close-UpTo get this pumpkin pie makeup look, I started with a white base using NYX Eyeshadow Base.

Then, I used Meyer Lemon, Ginger Pumpkin and Café au Lait from the Sigma Crème de Couture eye shadow palette, from top to bottom in that order.

(If you haven’t seen it yet, you should totally check out my recent post, 9 Ways to Wear Sigma Crème de Couture Eye Shadows. This would be look #10!)

Finally, I used the Sephora Smoky Kohl Eyeliner in black on the top lash line and lower waterline and the NYX Doll Eye Volume Mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

What do you think? Would you rock this pumpkin pie-inspired look?

What’s your favorite kind of pie?

FOTD: Pumpkin Pie YummiesAs you might be able to tell, pumpkin pie is my favorite. I like to eat all the pumpkin off my slice first before taking a single bite of the crust.

When I was a kid, I loved cherry pie. I was all about it.

What’s your favorite pie? I want to hear your suggestions! Let’s chat about it in the comments.
