For the Holidays: butter LONDON Double Take Ice Nail Polish Duo

I’d be so surprised if there wasn’t someone on your shopping list that liked nail polish. It’s the biggest trend in beauty right now. After all, you can do some crazy nail polish looks.

If you’re looking to get something cool for the nail polish-lover on your list, read on for the butter LONDON Double Take Ice review.

butter LONDON Double Take Ice Review: The Gift BoxSuch a cute nail polish duo! Double Take Ice is limited edition for the holidays and comes with two full-sized butter LONDON nail polishes.

butter LONDON Double Take Ice Review: The PolishYou get Bluecoat (on the left) and Leccy (on the right). Although this is a nail polish duo, you can actually wear this set in three different ways.

  • Bluecoat
  • Leccy
  • Leccy on top of Bluecoat

Want some proof? I tried it out all three ways!

butter LONDON Double Take Ice Review: BluecoatHere’s Bluecoat in just 2 coats (though 1 coat would have been enough.)

Look at that midnight blue! It’s such a gorgeous, deep color. And, without a top coat, it lasts for days without chipping.

butter LONDON Double Take Ice Review: LeccyHere’s Leccy in 3 coats.

As you can see, it’s an iridescent confetti polish with a clear base. After 3 coats, there still wasn’t a huge concentration of confetti, so this is best when you want it to be sparse.

butter LONDON Double Take Ice Review: Leccy over BluecoatFinally, here’s Leccy over Bluecoat.

Leccy adds a bit of shine and sparkle over Bluecoat. Although this combo is cool, I liked the colors best on their own.

My favorite? Bluecoat!

It’s gift time!

Wondering if this is a good choice for the nail polish-lovers on your list?

The butter LONDON Double Take Ice nail polish set is perfect for…

  • nail polish-lovers who aren’t afraid of blue or sparkles
  • fans of butter LONDON
  • those who’ve wanted to get into nail polish and need a push
  • ladies who love limited edition holiday gift sets
  • stocking stuffers
  • gifts under $25

You can pick up this gift set at the butter LONDON website or Ulta for $24.

  2. I agree the colours look better on their own. I like the confetti top coat, but it doesn’t do much for that blue.
