FOTD: Frozen Eye Makeup Featuring Blue and White
Hey guys! Have you seen the new animated movie, Frozen? It’s a Disney movie that definitely has a Tangled vibe.
Well, I saw the movie this weekend and decided to do my makeup to match. (Which is totally me in a nutshell. Most of my FOTDs are like that!) Thus, I came up with a Frozen eye makeup look.
The movie features a lot of snow and ice, hence the name. And, as you can see from the poster, it has a lot of blue and white. This is what I came up with:
Because the eyes were so bold, I didn’t wear anything on my lips apart from some gloss from the Willa Smile Butter Lip Balm Trio.
Before I started with the eye shadow, I used NYX Eyeshadow Base in white. That helped get really crisp and icy color. Then I used…
- Blueberry Cream from the Sigma Crème de Couture eye shadow palette all over my lid.
- Medium and dark blue eye shadows from the e.l.f. Studio Endless Eyes Pro Eyeshadow Palette along the upper lashline and on the lower lid.
- Sephora Eye Shadow in Aspen Summit along the top of the look and at the inside corner of the eye to add some icy whiteness.
I think it turned out pretty awesome. And it’s total proof that you can wear blue eye shadow and not look like you just stepped out of a time machine from the ‘80s.
What do you think of my Frozen eye makeup look?
Have you seen Frozen?
What did you think? I thought it was pretty amazing. The songs were great and the humor was right up my alley. I definitely want to see it again.
