Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Praline: Spring 2014

I know snow is still on the ground (At least where I am. Ugh.), but now is that time of the year when beauty brands start releasing their new products for spring. Today I’ll show you the Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Praline. It’s one of their cheek shades for the Spring Renaissance Collection.

Laura Mercier Creme Cheek Colour in Praline: The CompactThe compact is nice and small and comes with a mirror. It doesn’t come with an applicator, though.

Laura Mercier Creme Cheek Colour in Praline: The ColorAs you might guess by the name, the Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour is a cream blush. I like to apply cream blush with my fingers, so I’m totally fine without an applicator.

Laura Mercier suggests using the Crème Cheek Colour Brush, though.

Praline is a super pretty color. It’s like a mix of peach and brown for a subdued shade.

Laura Mercier Creme Cheek Colour in Praline: SwatchesThe Crème Cheek Colour blends super well. Some cream blushes can be streaky or splotchy, but that’s not the case with this one.

I really like the color, though I think it might be better for winter. Then again, I’ve never been one to follow seasonal makeup rules…
