Today, we’re looking at Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Foundation.

Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Foundation Review: The FoundationThis stuff is “baked.” That means that it was once a cream and they baked it down until it formed a solid pressed powder. You can tell it’s baked because it’s in a domed shape and has a marbled finish.

Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Foundation ReviewThe foundation doesn’t come with an applicator, so you have to pick one out for yourself. I tried it with both a foundation brush and a sponge, and I liked the sponge way better. It packed on the color better and the result was more even.

You know, I was expecting not to like this. I’ve been unimpressed by baked eye shadows, so I thought I’d feel the same way about a baked foundation. But, guys, I actually really like it.

The color is spot on and it blends so well that you can’t even tell I’m wearing it. I think I’ve finally found something to rival my favorite pressed powder foundation: Benefit Cosmetics Hello Flawless!

This stuff is good, plain and simple. It blends well, has a good color, and is easy to use. Yeah, it would have been nice if it came with a sponge, but whatever. I have one of my own.
